Simphiwe Ncube, known as Loxion Deep, was born and raised in Orlando West, Soweto, in South Africa. Loxion Deep is a record producer, songwriter and pianist. He gained popularity and recognition after producing the smash hit ‘Stokoloko’ with Kabza De Small in 2019. Although he’s fairly new to the lights of the industry, he has been making waves in the Amapiano scene and has become a formidable name in the music industry as a whole. Loxion Deep’s craft is out of the ordinary; his sound is neat, soulful and easy on the ear; hence, he was nicknamed the “Soulful King, Messi Wamapiano” by his fellow music colleagues and his loving fans.

He’s worked with some of the country’s most renowned artists, such as Nomcebo Zikode, Boohle, Mas Musiq and many more, and has shared stages with well-known DJs like Culoe De Song and DJ Christos. The multi-nominated producer and DJ recently collaborated with DJ Stokie on their hit ‘Soke S’bone’ featuring the talents of Sir Trill, Murumba Pitch and Nobantu Vilakazi—a track that is currently making waves and featured on major radio charts.

He’s returned with a production masterpiece titled ‘Khanyisela’. This offering features the talented, versatile vocalist ilovelethu and Sbu Ybn.This song acknowledges the reality that to be alive is to be in darkness, to be in the world is to walk in darkness and it speaks to our desire/need as humans to find the light, and the journey that search takes us on. While there can be many carriers of light, this song is about the peace of finding and trusting in God as the source of light. It is a celebration of the joy, warmth and assurance light brings to us as people.
