Rising amapiano sensation DJY ZAN announces the upcoming release of his highly anticipated EP, ‘G4SSED’. Ready to captivate audiences and set dancefloors ablaze, the announcement comes alongside the release of the EP’s lead single, ‘Hamba No Zani’, which will be available for streaming on all digital platforms on the 15th March 24.

Known for being one of the pioneers of the signature Black Is Brown Mozambican sound, DJY ZAN continues to master and develop the sound further. The lead single ‘Hamba No Zani’ follows the success of his latest work on ‘Another Version Of Us 2’ and is a comeback to the music scene.
Talking about the inspiration and creative process, DJY Zan shares; “Hamba No Zani is about vibing with me, like si’hamba no’zan basically. The vocals were from an old track of mine, so I had to use the old vocals for a new beat. It’s also like a comeback song, letting the people know that Zan is still here.”
With ‘Hamba No Zani’ as the first taste of what’s to come from ‘G4SSED’, fans and music lovers can expect nothing short of a musical journey that embodies new melodic sounds. ‘The can expect good music with the likes of Mpho Spizzy and Musiqal_Stylist. G4SSED is a solo EP with just two features.
ABOUT DJY ZAN
Zinzan Ndlela, commonly known as Djy Zan SA, hails from Randview and had a passion for music from a very young age. Inspired by old school house music that he heard playing while growing up, Djy Zan SA sprinkles a bit of it on all the songs he is on. He started producing music on his phone when he was 17. He met DJY Biza who taught him the music industry and how to produce music. He met Mr JazziQ through Instagram. His song ‘Century’ was making waves on social media and one day his friends informed him that JazziQ was playing his song on his IG Story. JazziQ told everyone to find Zan and he’s been working with him since. Determined to continue pushing his passion for music, he believes that Black Is Brown is the label that will help him reach his dreams. Zan forms part of the production duo Zan’Ten with DJ Y Ma’Ten.
