The song has been growing online since its release and has been playlisted on different radio stations in South Africa.Speaking on the track, Flowzbevtz said, “When I was making the song, I was telling myself that “Ngeke ngize ngihluleke” meant I would not fail, so I saved the project files as NGEKE. The name stuck.
