Kr4zygee Introduces His Amapiano Journey with “Makhelwane”

Emerging Amapiano vocalist and songwriter Kr4zygee has officially introduced himself to the music scene with “Makhelwane,” featuring Sihlewama2k, released on 28 August through vniMusic Records. The single marks the beginning of a promising journey and serves as the first taste of his upcoming debut album, Umoya Wase Vutha.

“Makhelwane” captures Kr4zygee’s ability to merge the infectious energy of Amapiano with a more lyrical and expressive approach. The track rides on rich bass, layered percussion and rhythmic grooves, while his vocal delivery brings a conversational, hip-hop-influenced character to the song. The collaboration with Sihlewama2k adds another dimension, creating a dynamic sound that makes the track both relatable and dancefloor-ready.

Kr4zygee’s artistic identity has been shaped by some of South Africa’s influential sounds. He draws inspiration from Amapiano pioneer Kabza De Small, the lyrical confidence of Nasty C, and the heartfelt storytelling associated with Blaq Diamond. These influences can be felt in his approach. However, Kr4zygee is focused on developing a sound that reflects his own experiences and environment.

“Makhelwane” is a statement of arrival for Kr4zygee a song that introduces his sound, personality and creative direction while giving listeners a glimpse of what lies ahead. With its infectious groove and expressive delivery, the track reflects an artist finding his voice and confidently stepping into his own space within Amapiano. It also opens the door to Umoya Wase Vutha, where Kr4zygee plans to explore his influences, experiences and the sounds that have shaped his journey.

For Kr4zygee, music is a purpose: to inspire, unite and remind people that powerful dreams can emerge from humble beginnings.
